Fitbit Ionic recall does not refund customer's money
I own a Fitbit Ionic. Fitbit recalled all their IONIC watches for refund due to battery problem.
I registered for the refund and received an email that refund will be sent within 3-6 weeks. Fitbit disconnect my watch from the account, which essentially made it useless.
It is now 10 weeks and no refund. Fitbit help does not answer calls.
They have my money for their useless product and no help.
Frankly, I would have given them no star at all if the option was available and having seen other complaints, it makes me more determined to never buy from them again.
I bought the original Versa when it…
I bought the original Versa when it came out and loved it. The battery went dead and causes the need for a replacement. I bought the Sense with the expectation that it would be an improvement to the original. It's not. The battery doesn't stay charged but 3 days not the five. It constantly won't sync. I have to turn it off and back on before it will sync to my phone. Most of the time you cannot use the talk to text feature as it keeps having errors and cancelling out.I use it for medical reasons and you have to pay to use the EKG part of the device. And it's $9.99 a month. Really? We spend $329 to purchase the watch only to pay again? Nope not me. If I had it to do again. I would try a different one.

Awful customer service
I was gifted a Versa 3 by hubby for our anniversary 12 days ago. I banged my arm accidentally and the screen cracked right at the edge. Contacted FitBit and all they offered was for me to purchase a new one at 30% off!!! Thank the lord for Best Buy Canada because they are sending me a brand new one as I am in the return policy window. 12 DAYS!!! Money gougers-->FitBit!
Customer Service cause chaos and confusion
Ordered a Fitbit direct from fitbit.com because I get a discount with my healthcare plan. It was marginally cheaper than ordering from a well known online site. I paid £8 extra for next day delivery. DHL lied about the delivery and said I was not in, when I was, so I contacted FitBit to complain. You have to contact them via one of those chat things. Customer Service do not seem to understand English and just caused a whole heap of frustration. I have no idea what has happened to my order - at least I think I am getting a refund for the £8 delivery charge. I don't know when it's due to arrive, and I now have two order confirmations. Would have been better to buy from a reseller.

If I could give them a zero...
If I could give them a zero, I would. The customer service is a joke. They treated me horrendously. My son's Inspire 2 watch strap broke after 1.5 months and the watch fell off. We couldn't find it anywhere. They said too bad, but we'll give you 35% off a new one... Are you kidding?? I should have known as my daughter's watch strap broke after a month (but it fell into the truck and we were able to find it).
They customer service agent was so rude and useless. DO NOT BUY FITBIT!!! THEY ARE GARBAGE and don't stand by their products. My son is so upset.
Ionic Recall process to discourage customers
Ionic Recall process is made complex so people don’t get money. You create and account, get a pin to add to another website (but have to wait 24 hours to do that) then you would get to add more details. Then they verify account which takes 6-8 weeks. Total time taken around 2 1/2 months, if you are lucky.
I am still waiting for them to confirm that 8 weeks down the line.
All this from a company which marks my steps and fitness every second.

Called customer service as my Fitbit…
Called customer service as my Fitbit Versa packed up again for the forth time.. Asked to send it to America now, which is clearly a joke considering I’m in the UK.
Since I brought it, I’m sure I had more time, trying to replace it then actually getting steps ??
Bought the charge 5 6 months ago
Bought the charge 5 6 months ago. Never worked properly. Will never buy another fitbit watch. Yesterday while training on a a.m.t machine it registered my heart rate of 89 bpm when my actual b.p.m was 143. !!!!! This is just one problem of many

Was a victim of the Ionic recall shananigan
This is just horrible. This company couldn't care less about its customers. They recalled the Ionic watches worldwide and left thousands of customers hanging without refund. This just makes you wonder how they will treat YOU some day when you're in need. Better avoid doing any business with them and save yourself some nerves and money.
The Customer care will always try to…
The Customer care will always try to convince to wait for another 2 weeks to get the refund. but the truth is it will always become another two weeks after two weeks.
I got rid of my watch after fibit recalled the ionics on 20th may. i supposedly received my money with in 6 weeks after confirming my ionic recall. But its been over 10 weeks since i got the email still i didnt got the refund.

Shocking
Shocking, it's as if it's a game to see how bad they can conduct themselves.
Horribly unhelpful customer service
Horribly unhelpful customer service.
I was told to stop using my Ionic device as they are being recalled. Should have received my refund after 8 weeks. It has been nearly 3months now and I still haven't received it. When contacting customer service team they told me to call recall team, when calling recall tam they tell me to contact customer service and no one seem to be doing anything to help me. They say they have escalated the issue but it lead to nothing at all.

Don't waste your £160.
Don't waste your £160.
Charge 5 battery depletes from 100% to 0% in 20 mins, product is 6 months old.
Customer service is abysmal. 1st call, following some reset to default, switching on and off, resetting clock faces bla bla bla. Nothing working.
Eventually found to find TC's on the Fitbit website (not every consumer friendly) that customer service can authorise a repair.
2nd call. Wouldn't authorise a repair as the issues is "a software issue" (didn't tell me this on the 1st call) still not my problem, and that I had to wait for the next software update.
Also they couldnt tell me when the update is due.
So I have a useless device, that may or may not be repaired, next update, that I have to wait an unspecified amount of time.
Pathetic customer service.
Don't invest your money in Fitbit
